In the 2021 New England Better Newspaper Competition, I was awarded first place in the Right to Know category among news services and online news sites.
“Christopher Peak’s dedication to the public’s right to know is clearly demonstrated in his appeals to shine a light in areas that school administrators would prefer keep from the public,” the judges wrote.
Awards also went to reporters at the New Hampshire Union Leader and the Telegram & Gazette (in Worcester, Mass.), who were all fighting for police misconduct records.
